Bright: Kettle 9093/1 LAZ by Alessi
As one of the best-selling Alessi articles, the water kettle 9093 with its bird figure is an absolute high-flyer. The design by Michael Graves dates back to 1985 and skilfully combines the influences of European art with American pop culture.
Now the popular design is available in a smaller version with bright colours! Like the large 9093 kettle, this version with a cute bird flute brings a smile to your face.
Designer Michael Graves
Michael Graves was born in Indianapolis. He taught among other things at the well-known Princeton University. Among others, he designed the Portland Building, the Humana Building and the extension of the Whitney Museum of American Art. For Alessi he designed the best-selling kettle 9093 . Michael Graves died in 2015.
Material and Format
The water kettle is made of shiny polished 18/10 stainless steel. It has a magnetic base made of steel and is therefore also suitable for induction cookers . The handle and bird flute are made of polyamide in light blue and yellow respectively.
The kettle measures 20 cm in diameter and 20.5 cm in height . It has a capacity of 1 litre.
