The About A Chair by Hay is probably the most famous creation by designer Hee Welling. With its minimalist, Scandinavian design and striking material combination of wood and recycled post-consumer plastic, it is once again setting new standards. The international bestseller is at home in both private and public spaces.
The AAC 155 Soft Duo combines the soft, quilted shell and contrasting materials with the high functionality and modern expression of the task chair's five-legged base. While retaining the high backrest and generous seat that characterise the series, the base is equipped with a tilting mechanism and a gas lift that allows the seat height to be adjusted.
About A Chair Collection
Deliberate and simple - the chairs from the About A Chair Collection by Hay follow simple and sleek lines so that they can be easily combined with other furnishings. They complement a wide variety of styles perfectly and are therefore also ideal for use in the contract sector. Designer Hee Welling conceived the series with the aim of making the chairs suitable for use in restaurants, canteens, in the office or at the dining table at home.
