The Skagerak by Fritz Hansen Cutter stool is the perfect complement to the Cutter Bench, which has the same design. This was also designed by Niels Hvass for Skagerak by Fritz Hansen. In the picture you can see the Cutter Box pushed underneath, which utilises the space perfectly and creates storage space. You can also order this here in the online shop.
Square, practical, good
Its square shape makes the small stool a very harmonious design piece of furniture, which nevertheless impresses with its uniqueness. This consists of the lamellar structure in which the seat is designed.
"Walk the Plank" was the name of the exhibition for which Niels Hvass designed this stool and other pieces of furniture, such as wardrobe elements, from the Cutter collection. This is also the reason why the seat consists of individual narrow planks that are reminiscent of a walkway.
The Cutter stool is also reminiscent of the Bauhaus era, as its cubic design is typical of Bauhaus design
