Design that has prevailed - with the 369 arm chair, Walter Knoll has created a true classic that makes the heart of every design lover beat faster. Designed by the Walter Knoll team in 1956, the armchair is still a design icon today.
In the 1950s, Germany was still characterised by a very classical style of furnishing. However, the small bucket armchair marked the beginning of a revolution in design language. Walter Knoll once presented this revolutionary piece of furniture at the Cologne Furniture Fair and described it as an ornament for the modern room.
