Original Bauhaus: 6631 P pendant lamp KAISER idell Fritz Hansen
The well-known Kaiser idell lamps by Fritz Hansen are real Bauhaus classics! The series by designer Christian Dell is based on the worldwide patented swivel bearing connection and the well-known and characteristic socket dome with the "ORIGINAL KAISER idell" embossing.
Made of steel and brass, the luminaires are available in high-gloss and matt optics. The chrome elements of the luminaire are polished and made of silver-soldered brass - this is how high-quality design works that lasts.
Designer Christian Dell
Christian Dell was born in Offenbach am Main. He completed an apprenticeship as a silversmith in Hanau from 1907 to 1911 and also attended the drawing academy there. From 1922 to 1925, he worked as a foreman in the metal workshop at the Bauhaus in Weimar. in 1926 he then took over as head of the metal workshop at the Frankfurt art school. His design style is considered extremely innovative for the time and was trend-setting for the development of design.
