With history: 756 Quaderna Sideboard by Zanotta
The Quaderna series by Zanotta was created in a time when everything in Italy was criticised and reconsidered. A time of upheaval, when Italian architecture and design culture was passionate. During this time, a group of students from Florence left their mark on the world of design with their idea of the "constant monument". Designed by Abet Print and Superstudio and named by Misura.
The latter filled everything with many square magmas, creating a histogram of architecture that gave rise to furniture and atmospheres equipped with what they called "super-surfaces as a mental attitude model". Aurelio Zanotta was ready to take up this idea and implement the abstract thought construct in reality in the Quaderna series.
Until today, the Quaderna furniture is a special sight of a timeless and thoroughly elegant collection. The square, white laminate covers the furniture pieces and creates architectural landscapes.
Material and format
The sideboard is made of plywood with white print, crystal glass. The sideboard measures 204 cm in width, 51 cm in depth and 54 cm in height.
