Above and below: Above pendant lamp by Louis Poulsen. At the top of the aluminium shade there is a kind of bracket through which the black cable is pulled. The light shines downwards as well as upwards.
You can order the minimalist Above Design lamp online in two colours: black and white. The interior of the luminaire shines in the most beautiful matt white. The diameter is 175 mm. Also together, as a pair of luminaires, Above by Louis Poulsen cuts a good figure. For long corridors, it is advisable to hang several luminaires one behind the other. A canopy is included.
The design
This (i.e. something beautiful) is the result when a Danish designer - Mads Odgård - designs a luminaire for a Danish label - Louis Poulsen - : "With Above, I have designed a luminaire that fully corresponds to my mantra: How much simplicity is there to dare in design? I prefer to take something away than to add something and I always remind myself to become as simple as possible," says the designer. The design lamps are manufactured in Denmark.
