Designer Alberto Meda
Alberto Meda was born in Italy in 1945. He studied mechanical engineering at the Polytechnic in Milan and was Technical Director at the well-known Italian manufacturer Kartell from 1972 to 1979. He then worked as a freelance designer for various companies such as Alias, Alessi and Vitra. Meanwhile he also works as a lecturer and gives lectures.
Alberto Meda has been working with Vitra since 1994. With his elegant office chair and table designs, he contributes significantly to Vitra's successful Office Collection.
Material and size
The office swivel chair has 2D or 3D armrests and a ProMotion mechanism that can be locked in the upright sitting position. The chair has seat height and seat depth adjustment as standard.
The seat is made of polyamide with a seat cushion made of polyurethane foam. The backrest consists of a fabric backrest. The backrest frame is also made of polyamide. The base is a five-star polyamide base in deep black with double castors.
