Geometry: Array sideboard from Woud
Inspired by the wooden slate panelling of modern architecture, the Array collection creates a special visual effect with its geometric shapes and horizontal panels. Light and shadow are captured by the depth of the material. The slender legs of the sideboard, consisting of a metal construction, provide a clear contrast. This eye-catcher is intended to arouse interest in what is inside.
The design comes from the Danish design studio Says Who, whose style is rooted in Scandinavian design and characterised by simplicity, minimalism and functionality. Despite the elaborate exterior panelling, the Array sideboard collection can also be categorised as part of this interior design style.
"Say Who" is intended to be both a question and a bold statement about challenging traditions and expectations. For the design studio, respect for design heritage, but also reinvention to adapt to the present, is paramount.
