Winner type: Aveny-T chair from Montana
With his Aveny-T chair, designed for the historic Aveny-T theatre in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen, designer Anders Engholm Dohn became famous on the TV programme "Danmark's next classic". Together with Montana Furniture, he brought his award-winning designer chair into series production to equip the Aveny-T theatre with 100 units.
With his design, Dohn wanted to create a practical and elegant chair with character that would suit the young audience of the Aveny-T theatre. Light and modern in expression and also stackable , Aveny-T is the ideal seating furniture for public areas. An ingenious detail is the small curvature at the top of the backrest, which becomes a practical armrest when sitting on the side of the chair.
Material and format
The Aveny-T chair is 48.8 cm wide, 52.3 cm deep and 77.5 cm high. The seat height is 46.7 cm. The frame is made of black lacquered steel. The seat and backrest with speckled pattern are made of recycled plastic. 10 units can be stacked on the floor and 20 units on a trolley .
