Replacement backrest for model S 32 by Thonet, design Marcel Breuer.
The backrest can be reordered at in stained beech or lacquered. As only water-based lacquer is used for ecological reasons and this gives the wood surface a silky matt sheen, older modelsmay vary in gloss level and colour. You can also order the matching replacement seat from us.
Care instructions
Regularly wipe both sides of the wickerwork with a damp cloth to maintain its elasticity - this is particularly advisable in dry or air-conditioned rooms.
Dryness over a long period of time makes the natural material brittle and susceptible to cracking. Clean soiled areas with a damp cloth and soft soap. If threads come loose, these can be reattached with adhesive.
Please also note that spare parts CANNOT be returned and therefore cannot be exchanged.
