A Christmas tree of a different kind is Bark for Christmas, designed by Michel Boucquillon and Donna Maaoui for Alessi.
Silver lustre
The shiny polished stainless steel version of Bark for Christmas, which you can order online here, is particularly festive. As with the traditional Christmas tree, the stylised stainless steel version must of course also have matching decorations. Alessi therefore includes six porcelain Christmas baubles. These are fitted with magnets on the back so that the baubles can be rearranged on the tree again and again. There is also a variety of colours, with two silver, two gold and two red baubles included.
Another practical and fun idea is to attach Christmas cards and other small messages to the tree with the magnetic baubles and decorate them.
