Description
Stylish: Bell Coffee Table steel coffee table by ClassiCon
The Bell Table marks the beginning of the collaboration between designer Sebastian Herkner and ClassiCon. Within a few years, this design became a kind of classic - probably because of the unexpected choice of material: Glass is associated in the mind with filigree and fragile. In the case of the Bell Table, however, the glass is solid support in the form of the table base.
This version is also characterised by the metal top made of steel, which blends in perfectly in terms of colour and creates a coherent overall picture.
Designer Sebastian Herkner
Sebastian Herkner studied product design at the Hochschule für Gestaltung in Offenbach. Already during his studies, he focused on the design of objects and furniture that are characterised by the combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern technology. Subtle details as well as the natural beauty of the materials used are also in focus. Herkner founded his own design studio in Offenbach am Main in 2006 and has since designed products for numerous renowned companies. His work has already received numerous awards.
Material and format
The table consists of a mouth-blown glass base in various colours and a metal top made of steel. The tabletop is made of black lacquered crystal glass. The table has a diameter of 75 cm and is 36 cm high.
