Before Hans Gustav Ehrenreich breathed life into the Hoptimists, the designer focussed on wood art, which he made in his woodturning workshop. There he made dreams and fantasies come true. So it is not surprising that the cheerful Hoptimists are now also available in oak wood.

With their funny faces and round, harmonious appearance, the little spring hops put a smile on everyone's face.

Hoptimist - the epitome of optimism

in 1968, Gustav Ehrenreich laid the foundations for the cheerful Hoptimist movement, which has been an integral part of Danish design history ever since. in 2009, the design was further developed in the spirit of Ehrenreich and relaunched on the market. The Hoptimists are manufactured in Denmark according to Ehrenreich's basic idea - a circle and an ellipse. This idea forms the basis for both the classics and the modern versions.

Material and format

This Bimble Hoptimist is made of oak wood and has a short spring that makes it flexible. It is 13 cm high and has a diameter of 10 cm.
