The Boa Table collection represents a ground-breaking redefinition of tables and conference tables. Designer Stefan Diez
Stefan Diez's design career began with his training as a cabinetmaker in 1991. He continued his training at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart in 1996 and received his diploma in industrial design. When he founded his own studio in 2003, he began working on a wide variety of projects - from accessories to smaller and larger furnishings and industrial design. His designs have earned him the "Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany", the "IF Gold Award" and the "red dot best of the best award".
Hay - contemporary furniture from Denmark
Founded in 2002, the Danish manufacturer Hay aims to create furniture that meets the needs of modern life and is accessible to the widest possible audience. Inspired by the stable structures of architecture and the dynamic twists and turns of fashion, Hay combines the values of both industries to create durable and appealing quality products.
Material and format
A key aspect of the Boa table is its sustainable production. Its tubular frame is made from innovative Hydro CIRCAL aluminium. This remarkable material sets an example for ecology, as it is made from at least 75% recycled post-consumer scrap metal. Production takes place in Denmark using renewable energy sources.
The aluminium profiles used in the assembly give the table its characteristic shape and functionality. They are flexible and make the table easy to assemble. The result is a piece of furniture that is as stable as it is mobile and fits harmoniously into any modern office environment.
The table top is made of linoleum. The table is 220 cm wide, 110 cm deep, 75 cm high and available in different versions.
