Energy Saver: Cadmo LED Floor Lamp from Artemide
The Cadmo floor lamp from Artemide is very simple. A lacquered steel body and a lacquered stainless steel base form the envelope for a powerful light source. The tube opens at the upper and lower edges and radiates a diffuse light into the room.
Designer Karim Rashid
Over 3000 designs, over 300 awards and projects in 35 countries of the world - Karim Rashid is one of the most distinguished designers of his generation. His work is characterized by the crossing of borders, innovative ideas and materials and the desire to broaden the client's horizons. In 1982, he received his bachelor's degree in industrial design from Carleton University in Ottawa. In 2010, he expanded his worldwide presence with a studio in Amsterdam, which complemented his first studio in New York in 1992. His designs include well-known and popular works such as the Garbo Can waste paper basket, the oh chair for Umbra and some Artemide lamps.
