Next Cao Mao PL pendant luminaire by C. Wortmann means "rice picker's hat" in Chinese and this is exactly how light the pendant luminaire appears despite its immense dimensions: 70 cm or 120 cm in diameter.
A translucent shade that hangs at an angle like a UFO floating in space ("peak down"). This luminaire is infinitely height and tilt adjustable. There are also versions for wall and ceiling.
