The Designer
Designer Marcantonio loved to play as a child with everything he found and to create his own world while daydreaming. He sees his artistic work as a direct continuation of this and draws his ideas and aesthetic components from these very childlike sources.
The connections between man and nature are always his favourite theme. He interprets both the dynamics as well as the beauty of nature and shows how man's attitude affects the original. This is also the case with his carpets Cieleo & Terra, with which Marcantonio wants to give food for thought to explore our deep connection with nature.
Material and format
The rugs are made of synthetic fibre and printed in four colours with the nature motifs. The carpet underside is covered with felt, the carpet edge with a belt edge, which guarantees maximum stability .
