A solid construction of clearly structured lines - the Compile Shelving System by Muuto is a flexible and practical shelving system that can be individually designed. Its simple design offers space for everything that the shelf should carry and present.
Designer Cecilie Manz
Cecilie Manz's designs in furniture, lighting and ceramics have won international recognition and are sold and exhibited worldwide. After studying at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts and the University of Art and Design in Helsinki, Manz founded her own design studio in 1998. Since then, she has received numerous prizes and awards for her work. The focus of her designs is the meaningfulness of the products - for her, there should always be a clear argument that legitimises her designs. Functionality is the basic approach for her designs.
Material and format
The shelves are made of laser-cut steel sheets that are bent and then powder-coated. This gives the shelves a matt, abrasion-resistant surface that is not sensitive to fingerprints. They can support up to 300 kg and can be built to any height. However, the manufacturer recommends not exceeding a height of 2.25 m.
Note: Please ensure that the shelves are mounted on the wall!
