All organic: Componibili Bio 3-piece element from Kartell
Componibili is one of Kartell's best-selling and most prestigious designs. It is therefore not surprising that this customer is the first to test a completely new material concept. The new model is labelled organic because it is made entirely from the new bioplastic from BIO-ON. The material is 100% natural and biodegradable. It is obtained from plant waste and therefore counts as a renewable raw material. The addition of micro-organisms produces a material that is similar in nature to plastic. It has the same thermomechanical properties as conventional plastic and is therefore also easy to use in production.

From the passion for excellent furniture grew the idea that responsibility for the environment is also important in the production of this furniture. All raw materials used are fully recyclable and can therefore be reused in new products. Throughout the entire production process chain, Kartell is committed to protecting the environment and complying with sustainability regulations. Therefore, every Kartell product is GREENGUARD certified, which stands for low emission levels and the preservation of air quality in city centres.

The new version is made of 100% bioplastic.
