Honest craftsmanship and the basic values of Scandinavian design - the Cover Chair by Muuto is an elegant and timeless wooden chair. Its strikingly curved backrest testifies to a high level of technical sophistication, because the chair does without visible metal! The seamless appearance is thus preserved. Thanks to its simple look, the chair can be used excellently in any ambience, whether in a private or public setting.
Designer Thomas Bentzen
The former designer of the Louis Campell Studio, Thomas Bentzen, founded his own studio in 2010. He is also a co-founder of the design collective REMOVE. His designs and products have gained international recognition at trade fairs and exhibitions.
Material and format
The Cover Chair is made of PU-lacquered oak wood. It is made without the use of metal, as the wood is folded over the chair legs and backrest so that this type of wood layering holds the chair together. The upholstered version of the chair is covered in Kvadrat fabric or Refine leather. It is 56.5 cm wide, 46 cm deep and 76 cm high.
