Inspired by a busy day at the airport, where comfort, calm and beauty are required, Mario Ferrarini designed this elegant stool as a cross between energy and balance.
La Palma - award-winning furniture made in Italy
Founded in 1978 by brothers Dario and Romano Marcato, the Italian family business aims to produce furniture for eternity. In addition to timeless design and the highest quality, La Palma has always focussed on natural raw materials and environmentally friendly and sustainable manufacturing processes. In collaboration with international designers and artists, La Palma primarily produces chairs, bar stools, tables and coffee tables, many of which have already won multiple awards and have now achieved cult status.
Material and format
The structure of this unique stool is made of recyclable metal and polyurethane. The powder-coated steel frame not only gives the stool stability, but also an elegant appearance. The anti-tilt feet, seamlessly welded on and lacquered to match the frame, provide a solid base and give the stool a floating lightness.
The polyurethane seat with a rigid polyurethane foam insert not only offers excellent softness, but also long-lasting comfort. The material is not only appealing for the user, but also for our planet - everything is recyclable.
With a width of 45 cm, a depth of 42 cm and an impressive height of 69 or 84 cm, the Cross cantilever chair is not only a stylish eye-catcher, but also a comfortable companion. The seat height of 65 or 80 cm allows for comfortable and relaxed sitting.
