From another time: D60 Garden armchair Outdoor Tecta
The D60 garden chair by Tecta is something very special, because it is a cast of the original chair from the Stadtmuseum in Munich. The two side parts are cast in one piece and then connected with round steel rods. The ornament in the backrest shows a lyre, a Medusa head with two widely spread wings, decorated with acanthus tendrils.
The original is from the time of the Royal Prussian Iron Foundries, where many variations of furniture of this type were produced. It was designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel and was part of a comprehensive design of parks.

The armchair is made of cast metal. It is 52 cm wide and deep, and 78 cm high. The seat height is 45 cm.
