Design studio kaschkasch
Collaboration as an essential aspect of design
Behind the pseudonym kaschkasch stand the two product designers Florian Kallus and Sebastian Schneider. Both first completed an apprenticeship as carpenters before they got to know each other through a joint productdesign study. Practical and theoretical understanding therefore go hand in hand from the very beginning.
In 2011, they founded their joint studio in Cologne. Their simple designs for Müller Möbelwerkstätten, Blomus, Normann Copenhagen and Co. are characterised by a fine feeling for functional reduction and timeless looks. Their creative output is enormously diverse - from lamps and mirrors to beds and shelves.
