Sea breeze: the Dokka pendant luminaire by Northern. The luminaire is so wonderfully minimalist and wonderfully fresh that it gives any room a colourful makeover in no time.
Despite its delicateformat , the Dokka luminaire has a lot to offer in termsof design: Dokka was the first luminaire from Norway that was awarded a gold medal at the Triennale di Milano .
Different colours
Which colour would you like? Classic white or black, modern dark grey or how about petrol or aqua green for a change? The choice is yours! What unites all colours is the mattlook. Mattcolours look a touch classier and more elegant than their high-gloss siblings. To ensure that the light shines as brightly as possible, the inside of the lampshade is white.
Material and format
The Dokka pendant lamp by Northern is made of high quality steel . The plastic cable of the white lampshade iswhite, of all other versions is black. The design lamp is 24.5 cm high and 16.5 cm wide. The matching canopy measures 5.5 cm x 12 cm.

We have Birger Dahl to thank for the snappy design of the Dokka lamp. The fact that the luminaire beauty was already designed in the year 1954 does not show at all. Birger Dahl (1916-1998) was a real pioneer in terms of Scandinavian lamp design . The graceful Birdy lamp - which you can alsoorder online in our shop - also comes from the design pen of Birger Dahl.
