Wired: Dragonfly chair with sled base from Segis
A filigree all-rounder that cuts a fine figure anywhere: from restaurants and waiting areas to meeting rooms. And if you don't need the chairs, they can simply be stacked on top of each other to save space. By the way: you can stack up to 15 chairs.
The design
With Dragonfly, the name says it all. "Dragonfly" is the English word for "dragonfly" and the dragonfly was indeed the source of inspiration. When you look at a dragonfly, it's hard to believe how the legs can even support the elongated body. But it works.
Excellent
With this design, it's no surprise that the Dragonfly chair has won several awards, including the London Design Museum's "Design of the Year 2015". Incidentally, the design was created by Odo Fioravanti.
Material and format
The seat shell is made from recyclable polypropylene, which is reinforced with fibreglass. You can choose between different colours: from red to black. The frame is made of powder-coated steel in the same colour as the seat shell. Glides protect the floor from scratches.
Dragonfly from Segis is 78.5 cm high, 54 cm wide and 54 cm deep. The seat height is 45 cm.
