Beauty: Dweller table by Jan Kurtz
Distinctive table legs and an interestingly shaped table top - the Dweller table by Jan Kurtz is both simple and special. The tabletop is not simply rectangular, but has bulbous long sides that create a boat shape.
Jan Kurtz uses oak wood from the common and sessile oak, which is one of the most common deciduous tree species in Germany. Oak trunks can grow up to 15 m long. The wood is knot-free, which makes it particularly valuable for furniture production.
Jan Kurtz - German purism
Jan Kurtz founded his label in Affalterbach, Germany, in the mid-1990s. After initially designing primarily outdoor furniture, Jan Kurtz expanded his range to include design furniture and accessories for the indoor sector. Company founder and boss Jan Kurtz wants to develop designs that integrate functionally and aesthetically into the living environment of their owners.
Material and size
The design table is made of solid, oiled oak wood and is available in two sizes:
- W 180 x 75 x 76 cm
- W 220 x 75 x 76 cm
Due to the shape of the boat, the tabletop has a width of 85 cm in the middle and 75 cm at the head ends.
