A new interpretation: E8 table from Zeitraum
E8 was inspired by a table from the post-war period, which designer Mathias Hahn found in the kitchen of his London flat at the time . Fascinated by the long, narrow format and the characteristic overhangs, Hahn decided to reinterpret these features in his own design . The result is the E8, a generous table that can be used both as a kitchen or work table.
Zeitraum - design furniture from the foothills of the Bavarian Alps
Life in the Alpine region is characterised by the conscious use of limited resources. This fact gives rise to a sense of responsibility and sustainability, to which the manufacturer Zeitraum is committed. The respectful treatment of the natural habitat and the timeless designs made from durable materials are the result. Since its foundation in 1990, the German manufacturer has pursued the idea of combining design and ecology and therefore only uses hardwoods from sustainable forestry and does not treat the wood with chemicals .
Material and format
The E8 solid wood table is available here in the online shop in the versions oak and American walnut. The surface is treated with natural hard wax oil. You can choose from two sizes:
