The Egg Chair by Fritz Hansen has become a true classic of Danish design craftsmanship, and not just because of its catchy and unusual shape. The beautifully shaped designer chair is considered one of the highlights of designer Arne Jacobsen's career.
Material and format
The armchair has a satin-brushed aluminium frame. It is upholstered in Essential leather. The leather is a lightly sanded with a fine grain pattern. This gives the upholstery a smooth appearance and, thanks to the pigmented surface of the leather, a very good and robust service life.
