Stroke of genius: Eiermann 1 table frame by Richard Lampert

The Eiermann 1 table frame by Egon Eiermann with its almost unlimited application possibilities is a masterpiece of engineering. The minimalist frame, which impresses with its first-class quality, is still one of the most famous pieces of German design furniture. Its most striking feature is the diagonal cross brace, which ensures stability. Since 1995, the Stuttgart-based manufacturer Richard Lampert has held the only production rights to the original design from 1953.

Material and format

Design: The frame is available with either a central or off-centre cross. Supplied in 3 parts (2 sides, 1 cross frame). The frame is also available as a completely welded customised version on request.

Colours: chrome-plated, clear or powder-coated in black (RAL 9005), white (RAL 9010), silver (RAL 9006), fluorescent orange (RAL 2005), olive green RAL6003, basalt grey (RAL 7012 spout), oxide red (similar to RAL 3009, spout) and bronze (spout).

Dimensions: The frame measures 1100 mm in width, 660 mm in height (heights of approx. 720/755 mm and higher can be set using extension rods and incl. 28/30 mm table top) and 660 mm or 780 mm in depth.

Important note: This item consists of the frame ONLY! You must order the table top etc. separately to obtain a complete table!

Mandatory successful accessories

1.Table top: You can find matching table tops in various formats directly in our online shop - optionally made of solid wood, linoleum or melamine.

2.Rubber stoppers: Rubber stoppers ensure that the table stays where it should and cannot slip. It's best to order them now!

3.Extensions: The short table extension allows you to reach a table height of up to 78 cm instead of 66 cm. The long version with 5 holes allows even greater heights and also sits securely in the tube.

Optional accessories

1.Level leveller: Is your floor uneven? No problem! With the level leveller (height + 2 to 4 cm), you can ensure optimum stability here too. If you want your table to be at a comfortable working angle - like a desk - you will need the fixing kit (height + 2 cm).

2.Additional castors: Additional castors (height + 7 cm) make the Eiermann table mobile. You can choose between plastic castors for carpeted floors and rubber castors for hard floors. Two of the four castors can always be locked!

3.CPU holder, drawers, etc.: If you want to use the Eiermann table as a desk, you can also equip it with a CPU holder, drawer or cable tray.
