Geometric masterpiece: The Fifty-Fifty Wall Lamp by Hay
Physics and technology are major sources of inspiration for designer Sam Weller. This can be clearly seen in the Fifty-Fifty luminaire, which is named after the counterweight system that establishes the balance between the two parts of the luminaire.
This sophisticated luminaire balances its reduced aesthetics in perfect harmony with its optimal functionality, and not just figuratively speaking. The arm of the luminaire can be tilted and swivelled with one hand. It also has a touch-sensitive dimmer switch for positioning and controlling the light source.
The luminaire is made of powder-coated aluminium and the wall bracket is made of steel. It is 7.5 cm wide, 187 cm deep and 67 cm high. The cable is made of black silicone and the cable length is 300 cm.
