Designer Marta Sansoni who was assigned by Alessi to research the use and tasting
of oil has create Fior d´olio.
The result is a dispenser cap in stainless steel which is put on oil bottles or seals a small,
special glass bottle for tasting oil. Thanks to its beaked dispenser you can allot how much oil
you want on your food. At the same time the cap prevents oxidation thus the acidification of th oil.
Fior d´olio by Alessi is a small technical gem which displays with its iconic design the "green gold"
as a main component of our cuisine.
