Design studio Formstelle

The Formstelle design studio was founded in 2001 by Claudia Kleine and Jörg Kürschner. The two take on tasks in the fields of interior design, product design and corporate identity. For all points, the focus is also on the interrelationship between people and spatial perception. This is how authentic, unique and precisely coordinated designs and concepts are created. An in-house model-making workshop enables a hands-on approach to the subject during the design process.

Material and format

The wood, core leather and cushion covers can be selected according to your individual preferences to offer you a wide range of options.

The 2-seater is made of solid wood and is available in oak, stained oak and American walnut. The frame is solid wood. The surface of the frame is treated with natural oils and waxes, with a matt lacquer finish in the stained version.

With its loosely inserted micro-spring cores in a robust wooden frame and the carefully stitched seat and back cushions , it is a harmonious combination of luxury and quality. The soft back cushion has polyester fibre rods and a foam core that provides additional stability and support. The removable cushion covers in leather or fabric allow for easy cleaning and care, while the zip ensures a secure connection between the seat and back cushions

The sofa measures 167 cm in width, 84 cm in depth and 63 cm in height. The seat height is 38 cm and the seat depth is 56 cm.
