Lightweight: Fromme stool by Petite Friture
The Fromme st ool is the perfect addition to create additional seating space in a simple way. One advantage - the stool can be used both indoors and outdoors. Thanks to a special coating, the stool is weather-resistant and robust and can also be easily stored by stacking it to save space. A special feature: Inspired by cycling, the designer integrated suspension joints under the seat, which make the stool particularly comfortable.
Like the other furniture of the Fromme collection, the Fromme stool is available in different colours and can thus be adapted to the existing furnishing
The Designer - Tom Chung
Tom Chung is an independent designer with his own studio for industrial design, which he founded in 2016 . Based in Toronto, he creates industrial designs for institutions and public facilities. In addition to industrial design, his focus is also on interior design. During his design process, he combines contemporary culture and local industry.
Material and format
The stool is made of matt-grained aluminium and has a UV-resistant powder coating for outdoor use. A VOC-free rust protection paint is used. The legs of the stool are made of extruded tubes, which are not only light but also ensure a stable construction. The stool measures 38 cm in diameter and 45 cm in height. The weight is 2.6 kg.
