Airy heights: Fruits on Air fruit shelf from side by side
The fruit bowl was yesterday! With the Fruits on Air fruit shelf, you get an unusual storage unit with which you can present your favourite fruit wonderfully on three levels.

The wooden design shelf also has great advantages. Narrow and high, the shelf requires less space on the worktop. This makes it extremely space-saving compared to conventional fruit bowls. And thanks to the airy design, your fruit is not only better ventilated and thus preserved longer, it also gets fewer unsightly pressure marks.

Sustainable design with a social character
The design comes from designer Marisa Christ and was created as part of a student project at Ecosign in Cologne (design studies for sustainability / Academy of Design). The practical shelf is produced in the Caritas Wendelstein Werkstätten, a workshop for people with disabilities.

Material and format
The fruit shelf is 35 cm wide, 12 cm deep and 34 cm high. It is made of untreated ash and maple wood. The strap for fixing is made of leather.
