As part of the Georg collection by Chris L. Halstrom for Skagerak by Fritz Hansen, the light-footed Georg stool doesn't fit into any drawer.
This is not only evident in its material combination of black lacquered oak, seat cushion with cotton cover and leather cord. Chris L. Halstrom 's design was also inspired by two worlds: Nordic sensuality meets Japanese minimalism in the Georg stool.
Its sophisticated design has even earned Georg a place in the permanent collection of the Design Museum Trapholts in Denmark.

Materials and care
Lacquered oak wood
The oak wood used by Skagerak by Fritz Hansen is FSC-certified and comes from sustainable forestry.
Oak wood is particularly popular as furniture wood because it is characterised by its high strength. This version of the Georg stool is lacquered black, making it easy to clean. Simply wipe it with a damp cloth. If necessary, you can also use a mild detergent.
Wool cover
The seat cushion cover is made of 93% wool and 7% polyamide. The cushion is filled with a polyester fleece, but the cover is not removable. If the surface becomes soiled, please use lukewarm water with a neutral detergent if necessary. The cushion and cover are not machine washable.
