Stony: Grain doormat Sandstone by Heymat
The Grain doormat - the first project by designer Stine Aas for Heymat - looks like a small path made of small stones and pebbles. Inspired by natural materials and colours, organic patterns and structures meet here, where no shape resembles the other. In this way, Stine Aas creates a special look with her design, which is characterised by delicate contrasts and a tactile surface . Grain will clearly be the highlight of your hallway!
Suction power
Dirt and moisture don't stand a chance against the fluffy top surface in beautiful sandstone shades. They are wonderfully absorbed and hardly noticeable thanks to the unique pattern . The rubber underside ensures that the doormat always stays in place.
Heymat - Scandinavian design
The couple Sonja Djønne and Thoralf Lian founded Heymat with the idea of combining the high quality demands placed on industrial doormats with modern Norwegian design. Thoralf Lian's experience in the field of industrial doormats goes back to the knowledge of three generations. His wife Sonja Djønne, with her interest in interior architecture and design , brings the aesthetic component that creates the special look of Heymat floor mats. These are made of recycled materials that are not only good for the environment but also easy to clean.
Material and format
Typical of Heymat, Grain is also produced sustainably. The textile top is made of 100 % recycled plastic. The non-slip underside is made of nitrile rubber. The high-quality, hard-wearing doormat is designed for indoor use.
Grain is 7 mm high and can be ordered in three different sizes:
- 60x85 cm
- 85x115 cm
- 85x150 cm

Notethe production of a Heymat doormat involves a high degree of manual work. Therefore, there may be slight variations in size, colour and appearance.
Cleaning: Vacuum clean the doormat before washing. Grain can be washed at 60 °C in the washing machine. Please use detergent without bleach. To dry, either hang it up or put it in the dryer. Regular washing in the washing machine prolongs the life of your Heymat doormat and should be done 2 to 4 times a year.
