Material and size
The wooden animals from Woud are made of solid oak. Oak is one of the hardwoods and is thus particularly sturdy - a not inconsiderable advantage when Hibo is used as a toy.
Design
We owe this charming design to designer Steffen Juul - a graduate of the Danish Design School. In 1996 Juul founded his own design studio. His credo: the reduction to essentials. The superfluous has nothing to do with his designs. However, something that has to do with his designs: a beautiful shape and a high degree of functionality.
