Ready for summer: Imba lounger from Moroso 

This extravagant sun lounger was designed by Frederica Capitani especially for the M' Afrique collection by Moroso. The design of the lounger is based on the combination of two interwoven frame elements. While one element forms a classic reclining surface with complete covering, the second element, which extends from the head end to the middle of the reclining surface, serves as a decoration and at the same time provides privacy. The Imba garden lounger is exceptionally beautiful, comfortable, durable and, with its bright colours, creates the best summer mood. 

Art director Patrizia Moroso's aim with M' Afrique is to capture the exotic cheerfulness of the African continent. Senegal is also home to the small factory founded specifically for this purpose, where each design is skilfully made by hand. The polyethylene mesh is based on the weaving technique of African fishing nets and is as unique as it is robust. The steel frame, which Moroso has weatherproofed, contributes significantly to the stability.

Moroso was founded in 1952 and since then has stood for high quality, unbridled ingenuity and colourful design furniture. The focus is on unique, unusual design, environmentally friendly production and the use of natural, recyclable materials wherever possible. Material and format 

Like all the furniture in the M' Afrique collection, the Imba sun lounger was designed for outdoor use. Its frame consists of robust, weatherproof lacquered steel, whereas the lying surface is made of polyethylene threads. As each lounger is made by hand, each piece is unique and there may be variations in the colour and weave pattern. 

You can order the design lounger with a width of 91 cm, a length of 170 cm and a height of 97 cm in the colours light blue, yellow and red. 

Note: The M'Afrique collection by Moroso is traditionally produced by hand in Senegal, so that deviations and minor faults do not constitute grounds for complaint. These are intentional and are part of the handcrafted and artisanal character of the piece of furniture. Due to the manufacturing process in Senegal, the furniture is not always directly available in all variations and colours, as you are used to from European companies.
