Wiredrawer: the WM String Lounge Chair by Audo Copenhagen. The black wire gives the Lounge Chair lightness and airiness. Where other armchairs have thick cushions and a wooden frame, the String Lounge Chair is a bit more filigree.
Typical for a lounge chair, the seat height is very low; with 36 cm far lower than the counterpart, the WM String dining chair, which has a height of 45.5 cm. In addition, the String Lounge Chair has a wide backrest. Robust, powder-coated steel is used as the material.
Studio WM
Even if one is thinking of soccer when hearing the brand name, Studio WM has nothing to do with it. WM is composed of the initials of the founders Wendy Legro and Maarten Collignon. Already shortly after their graduation at the Design Academy in Eindhoven, the designers began to work together.
This collaboration has quickly benefited from the numerous awards the designer duo has to offer, such as the AD Architectural Digest & MONOQI Design Award or the German Design Award.
