Inspired by nature, and in particular by the smoothly polished Japanese stones shaped by time and water, this sofa evokes a unique harmony between firmness and softness. The name Gogan comes precisely from these stones, which are placed along rivers and lakes to provide both shelter and aesthetic appeal.
The Gogan sofa, designed by renowned designer Patricia Urquiola in 2019 , is a masterpiece of timeless elegance and modern design. Every detail has been meticulously designed to create a perfect balance between aesthetics and comfort. The combination of the organic shapes and masterful craftsmanship gives the Gogan Sofa an incomparable appeal.
Material and format
It is made of flame-retardant polyurethane foam with different densities, covered with a polyester fibre filling. The feet are made of polypropylene and are firmly screwed to the frame. The covers of the Gogan collection are removable for easy cleaning and maintenance.
The width measures 284 cm, the depth is 170 cm and the total height is 70 cm. The seat height is 40 cm. The foot height is 7 cm. The seating element is 180 cm wide and 69 cm deep. The reclining element measures 127 cm in depth and 104 cm in width. The weight is 190 kg.
