In vintage look: VL38 floor lamp Louis Poulsen
In the late 1930s, designer Vilhelm Lauritzen designed the VL38 table lamp in collaboration with Louis Poulsen for the Danish radio building "Radiohuset" in Copenhagen. The new version from 2016 is characterised by stronger contours, but still remains true to the appealing retro look with its soft and curved expression.
Louis Poulsen - lighting design from Denmark
The Danish luminaire manufacturer was already founded in 1874 and since then has been producing products that are dedicated to the duality of design and light. The luminaires are designed for various purposes and are therefore particularly functional. Louis Poulsen produces indoor as well as outdoor lights in close cooperation with well-known designers such as Poul Henningsen, Arne Jacobsen, Verner Panton, Øivind Slaatto, Alfred Homann, Oki Sato and GamFratesi. Thus, the manufacturer has established itself as one of the most important global suppliers of lighting elements.
