The designer Ingo Maurer is known for his unusual and unusual lighting creations, which are reminiscent of works of art according to the artist's maxim "A way from immovable, static designs, towards the lightness of being".
And what better symbolises the lightness of being than butterflies? The flying insects decorate the La Festa delle Farfalle ceiling lamp by Ingo Maurer. There are a total of 34 white butterflies and a green dragonfly as a splash of colour - all made of paper. Three incandescent lamps, which lie on a porcelain plate at the bottom, and LEDs integrated into the plate illuminate the unusual lamp from below.
