He grew up in London as the son of an English father and a French-Latvian mother. His roots as a designer lie in the punk movement of the early eighties. As an eccentric performance artist in the London nightclub Titanic, he welded together his first design furniture on stage. Material and format
The luminaire consists of slender steel tubes that are one metre high, with four iconic shades made of blow-moulded opal. The luminaire is 103 cm high and 98 cm wide.
