Purism in its purest form: With SE 68, designed by Egon Eiermann for Wilde + Spieth, you get a classic dining room chair that could not be more timeless.

Modern classic

The classic chair SE 68 has a particularly harmonious appearance with its elegant steel tube support and the slim seat and back made of beech wood. In this version - with the combination of steel pipe and moulded wood - SE 68 was even the first model of its kind in Germany.

The designer chair SE 68 is exactly the right thing for minimalists, who also value the dining room in a simple overall look.

In addition to the design, Egon Eiermann paid particular attention to giving the chair "a human dimension". This meant the famous designer had a body-tailored shape. The fact that this claim has succeeded in the best way is clear to everyone who has settled on the SE 68 chair.

Wilde+Spieth and Egon Eiermann

That Egon Eiermann plays a major role in the product portfolio of Wilde + Spieth is beyond question. How did this fruitful collaboration come about? This happened rather by chance, as architect Egon Eiermann was looking for blinds for one of his buildings - and he got along so well with the company founders that he decided to create a chair collection with the manufacturer. Fortunately, because today we do not have to do without the legendary designer chairs like the SE 68 by Egon Eiermann.

You can order the SE 68 shown here in different versions as well as with or without armrests here in our Onlineshop. If you want a different colour, please contact us. The PDF, which can be found under the Downloads tab, provides an overview.
