This shelf lamp is something very special, because it not only illuminates your library but also supports your books. It can be placed anywhere and serves as a bookend for all your favourite books. Thus, the library becomes a special eye-catcher.
The shelf luminaire provides spot lighting. Thanks to a particularly long cable, it can also be placed on larger shelves, with the cable hidden behind the shelf wall. Even if Oskar looks very good on the desk, caution is advised because the head of the lamp heats up very quickly.
The design is from 1998 and comes from Ingo Maurer, a qualified graphic designer, who has been designing creative and unusual lamps since 1966 and also produces them himself.
Processing
Thanks to a flexible metal arm, the lamp head can be adjusted individually. The lamp is made of metal, anodised aluminium and a reflector with protective glass. The cable is 4 m long.
