The Boia coffee table from the pen of Christian Haas impresses with its tactile contrasts and unusual design. Its three curved segments are made from a single piece of solid ash. The natural beauty of the material takes centre stage thanks to the open-pored lacquer finish of the wood. The transparent, grey glass top reveals the coloured table legs. Christian Haas
Born in Germany in 1974 and now living in Porto, the designer is dedicated to creating furniture, lighting and accessories for numerous well-known manufacturers. Christian Haas focusses on subtlety, emotionality, durability and uniqueness in his designs, which are both simple and elegant. His work has already been honoured with the Red Dot Design Award and the Elle Decoration International Design Award.
Material and format
The Boia coffee table has a diameter of 750 mm and is 365 mm high. The table top is made of grey safety glass. The solid wood table frame and the powder-coated steel table legs are available in green, red or black.
