Material and size
The plastic straps are woven on old looms from the 50s and 60s - not in the Far East, but in a small town in Sweden. Also not insignificant is the fact that the tapes are free of plasticizers as well as heavy metals. The fact that the Pappelina carpets are of a particularly high quality is made clear by the fact that twice as much material is woven into them as is the case with traditional runners.
The Dana plastic runner is 70 cm wide and 400 cm long, making it the perfect carpet for endless corridors. The fresh pattern immediately brings comfort into your own home. And you don't need to be as afraid of dirty shoes as with classic carpets. The carpets are extremely easy to clean.
Pappelina
The Swedish label Pappelina is a true success story. The outdoor carpet specialist owes its beginning to a coincidence. After a four-year trip to the USA, a certain Lina Rickardsson returned to her Swedish homeland, where she found a new hobby: the craft of weaving. This gave her so much pleasure that she quickly trained as an artisan and weaver. When she presented her first 124 runners at a fair, one thing came after another. Pappelina now produces 100,000 runners a year.
