A floor lamp made of lacquered steel with fine brass details - this is noble minimalism that strikes a perfect balance between design and functionality. The Tripod design lamp was already designed in 1953, but is only now being produced. Due to its simple look and the adapted colour selection, it is absolutely contemporary.
Design duo Hvidt & Mølgaard
Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen are seen as pioneers of Danish design in the middle of the last century. The design duo became famous for their plain and simple works that follow a precise aesthetic. With the AX chair in 1950, the success of the two was sealed. With their forward-thinking approach to its industrialised production, they paved the way for a new movement that relied on classic craft techniques to produce affordable, beautifully crafted furnishings.
