Skultptural: LT8 floor lamp from Astep
Revolutionising the world of furniture was the aim of the Teco company. In 1957, the company's LT8 design was submitted to the patent office as an ornamental and utility model. In the new edition of Astep, the fluorescent tubes were updated with an integrated dimmable LED module.
Astep - a tradition spanning generations
The company of Alessandro Sarfatti, the son of the owner of Luceplan and the grandson of the founder of Arteluce, was born out of an admiration for timeless inventions. Arteluce and Luceplan have already created a multitude of iconic luminaires of inimitable beauty. Now the experience of three generations has come together and Astep is using the latest technologies to develop marvellous light sources for the next generation.
